Flying too close to the sun
Your skin burns to bone
The blue under your wrist
Glows of the inside of sunflowers
You want to eat that light
Every living thing does
If you stare too long into the sun
You see ghosts
Waiting to haunt your skin
Kiss it off
Take you in.
