A timid smile broke
The silence of the room
It altered a rippling in the air.

Husky words some lips spoke
Unwrapped the night and its gloom

Set the wind in motion
That carried away tiny pieces of you
Left behind.

I see a hand that doesn't dare
To reach out and touch the ocean,
A whisper out of the blue
Lingers and captivates my mind.

Forgotten melodies
Souls still recall
From time to time
An angel plays them in my heart.

Childhood fairytales and stories
Men never ignore
For one golden dime
Some voice tells them to my heart.
