your eyes
Malachite rivers flow
Encircling my inflamed soul.
Clouds rush through shores
Where pain and love synchronize.
Behind
your eyes
Jade fountains waste their waters
Trying to match the virtuosity of your tears.
Your naked solitude reveals my suspended fears,
In your virgin mouth unseen heaven lies.
Behind
your eyes
Viridian angels hide their quandary,
Unscathed evil swims in innocence.
My vampire heart performs your dance
And the air around us cries.
Behind
your eyes
Bravery preserves.
It’s the only place
Where duality abides,
Where my soul lives and dies.
Behind your eyes.
