Particles and layers of breath
On glass
On windows
On shadows
Of a silhouette in a stormy night
Out there in the darkness
Two trees dancing tango,
Two shadows sharing their bitter cold solitude.

Out there in the darkness
Particles and layers of your breath
Are fading away
Between the falling snowflakes
Up
Down
Around the night
Around the hands of the night
Are slipping between her fingers
Made of ice, water and rain,
Her fingers
Surrounding my breath
Trying to reach yours.

Out there in this cold November night
The leaves are trembling,
Whirling around,
Crying, fighting,
Particles and layers of air
Trap your breath
Trying to catch it,
Hold it and preserve it
Out there in this stormy night
I see my breath
Painting silhouettes on the window.
