When you were little,

I'd pick you up,

hold you in my arms,

put my eye to yours

and blink my lashes.

All boo boo's felt better,

tears turned to laughter,

sweet affection felt.

Magic made.

The years passed,

looking back through them,

I'm reminded of those

sweet butterfly kisses.
